Penistone Grammar School has a vacancy for a full-time temporary Teacher of Science, who has the enthusiasm and drive to join our amazing team of Scientists.

Contract: Full time, Temporary for 12 months to cover maternity leave

Salary Range: MPS/UPS (ECTs are welcome to apply).

Start Date: September 2024

About the role: You will be a first-class practitioner who will thrive upon the commitment our students have to their learning, a teacher who has the determination and talent to make a difference in the life of each and every student you teach; a teacher who shares our vision and can inspire our young people to achieve more than they believe is possible.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of teaching Science preferably with a proven track record at KS4 and KS5 or be enthusiastic about taking on the challenge that teaching to examination level will bring.
