September 2024 Start Date

We are currently looking for a dedicated, motivated, and inspirational Mathematics Teacher to join our academy starting in September 2024. The chosen candidate will be passionate about achieving outstanding results, which will in turn motivate and encourage our students to surpass their targets and reach their full potential.

The successful candidate will join a talented and ambitious Maths team, with close links to the wider mathematics community. For example, we are excited to be working in partnership with Axiom Maths and NCETM who are funding a dedicated maths excellence coordinator, including the Maths Circles project for Year 7 and 8 students, enrichment opportunities, and fully-funded professional development for KS3 teachers.

At our academy, we offer exceptional opportunities for our students to explore and develop their individual interests and talents, while also equipping them with the necessary skills to thrive in contemporary British society. Our strong community relationships and unwavering support system ensure that our students feel secure, content, and accomplished.

New Forest Academy is a successful and popular 11-16 community school adjacent to the New Forest National Park and we are proud to serve the South Waterside community in Hampshire.

As a small school we are fortunate to be able to really get to know each and every student. Staff who work here see this a real benefit and you will join a school where tailored CPD and effective communication is firmly embedded. We are a 'good' school, with outstanding features.

Our vision is to enable ambitious futures for all members of our academy community. We strive to ensure that expert teaching of our exciting curriculum allows students from all backgrounds to fulfil their academic potential. We achieve this by sequencing the most important and compelling knowledge backwards from ambitious curriculum aims, and adapting what we teach to our local context. Our passionate team of subject experts deliver chosen content through research-based, best practice approaches. We provide exceptional opportunities to develop the unique interests and talents of our students, and to prepare them for life in modern Britain. Strong relationships and first-class support across the community ensure that students are safe, happy and successful.
If you are successful, you will join a school where all colleagues play their part and contribute to whole school improvement through our distributed leadership model. If you embody these values and have high expectations, you will be very successful working with us.
