£175-£270 per day, depending on experience
Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in the Rickmansworth area for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of History to join the school from October 2026 on a full-time maternity cover basis.

The Role
As a Teacher of History, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging History lessons across the ability range.
Inspire and motivate students to develop a strong understanding and appreciation of History.
Encourage critical thinking, discussion and independent learning.
Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the History Department and across the wider school.
Contribute positively to the wider school community.The Ideal Candidate
