Academics, Canterbury are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced teacher to join a school in Broadstairs, Kent as a full-time Health and Social Care Teacher. As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals and prepare them for further studies.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality teaching of Health and Social Care curriculum to students
Consistently assess and monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback
Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Provide pastoral care and guidance to students
Contribute to the continued development of the Health and Social Care curriculum and school policiesRequirements:

Relevant qualifications (ideally a Bachelor's or Master's degree) in Health and Social Care or a related field
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in teaching Health and Social Care in a secondary school setting
Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care curriculum
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
