Description:

Propsero Teaching is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker who can support a child in a mainstream secondary school in Newham.

The role involves working with a pupil who has recently moved out of an SEN school. He is now in the Additionally Resourced Privison (ARP) of the mainstream school where the role will take place.

The pupil is a Year 7 student who is verbal and bright, but his behaviour can be quite challenging. He will require a lot of support as he makes this transition into a new school and environment.

The position is open to all experienced Teaching Assistants and support workers who have some experience in a similar role. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two yearsOTHER
