A great Secondary school, on the beautiful island of Guernsey is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of Art on a permanent basis, to start in September 2024.

The candidate must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and have experience teaching across Key Stages (3-5). The role comes with a generous relocation package and rental support.

Essential requirements:

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
PGCE or degree in the relevant subject area
Clean Enhanced DBSKey tasks and responsibilities:

Teach across Key Stages 3-4. The capacity to teach KS5 is desirable
Appropriate planning and preparation of courses to support curriculum development
Promote a love for Art & Design to students inside the classroom, as well as across the whole school community
Manage the behaviour of students in classrooms and around the school
Support extra-curricular activities
Differentiate to meet the needs of learners
