Position: Teacher in Dyslexia support
Location: NN3, Northampton
Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher with experience working with SEN children in one of our client schools in the NN3, Northampton area. Our client school is proud to be one of the leading providers of further education in the south East Midlands regions and have been rated ‘Good’ in their latest OFSTED report with outstanding features.
The role will take place in 1:1 and small groups with a variety of students across the college with Dyslexia. The successful candidate will have expertise in assessing, teaching and supporting students with spLD difficulties on courses at Level 1, 2 and 3. The role will include assessing and working ith students to improbe their English skills (Written and spoken).
Requirements
Proven ability to assess and teach students with spLD traits in 1:1 and small groups
Ability to collaborate with other members of staff on how spLD traits impact learning and appropriate teaching methods and assessment strategies
2+ years’ Experience working alongside children and young adults with spLD
Full time availability
Enhanced DBS or happy to apply for one
