Job Title: Year 4 Teacher

Location: Andover (SP11)

Start Date: Sept 2024

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a new opportunity to inspire and support students in their academic journey? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dynamic Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming school at a small school outside of Andover. As a Year 4 Teacher, you will have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their educational development.

The role is to cover a maternity and has the possibility to go permanent. The school also welcomes applications from ECT’s.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality lessons in accordance with the Year 4 curriculum, fostering a love for learning among students.
Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that caters to the individual needs and learning styles of all students.
Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that enhance the learning experience.
Establish effective communication channels with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns in a timely manner.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events to contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
Sound understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a positive learning environment.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
