What will the Tax Manager role involve?
Overseeing the submission of all tax and duty returns for the organisation and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Managing Corporation Tax returns and liaising with HMRC and other authorities for all tax-related queries
Supporting cross-border transactions and Customs and Excise issues, providing expert advice across teams
Collaborating with external professionals and internal stakeholders on tax compliance and planning
Assisting the Senior Tax Manager on new projects, tax advice, and regulatory updates
Suitable Candidate for the Tax Manager vacancy:
Qualified or working towards a recognised accounting or tax qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ATT)
Experience in tax legislation, returns, and compliance, with strong IT and data analysis skills
Understanding of financial processes, controls, and process improvements in a corporate or charity setting
Meticulous, deadline-driven, and committed to high professional standards
Effective communicator, capable of educating non-financial colleagues on complex tax issues
