Beyond Talent are pleased to be working with a reputable and growing Accountancy Practice in Retford, who are looking to recruit a Tax Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of personal and corporation tax returns, as well as P11D submissions.

Support tax compliance work for a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Deal with client queries and liaise with HMRC where necessary.

Support the wider team with tax planning and advisory work as your experience develops.

Manage workloads effectively, ensuring work is completed accurately and within required deadlines.

Profile & Requirements

Previous experience within an accountancy or tax environment would be beneficial, although full training and support can be provided for the right person.

A keen interest in developing a career in taxation.

Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

Good communication and organisational skills.

Confident using Microsoft Office, with experience of accounting or tax software advantageous.
