12 month PAYE - Glasgow (Hybrid 3 days in the City Centre office)
FPSG are supporting our established global client with an exciting opportunity for a Tax Consultant on a 12 month temp role, based in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established tax function responsible for ensuring compliance with income and indirect tax filings and monitors tax regulations and legislation.
Role Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage a portfolio of UK companies and processes, and will contribute to tax return filings, tax payments, tax forecasting, tax bookings and internal and external tax reporting.
Conduct tax technical research and work collaboratively across the wider tax, finance and other teams delivering on a number of projects and manage risk.
Managing, developing and coaching staff.You will have the following skills:
Proficient UK Corporation Tax compliance knowledge and experience in practice or industry
Relevant professional accountancy or tax qualification (including ACCA/CIMA/CA or ATT/CTA).
An understanding of tax reporting and forecasting processes.
Experience managing tax compliance for large and complex groups.
Aptitude for working in a swiftly changing, dynamic environment.
Self-motivated personality with high standards for quality of work, controls and accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Experience in people management.Reward
This client has a reputation of offering candidates a diverse range of project opportunities, where complexity and collaboration will ensure continual personal and technical development. Engaging on circa £350-£400 per day on a PAYE basis.
