Targeted Youth Support Case Support Worker

Description:

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Targeted Youth Support Case Support Worker for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive support and advocacy to young people and their families, conducting assessments, coordinating interventions, and facilitating family-focused meetings to address and resolve emerging concerns.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

Conduct assessments using the Early Help Assessment Framework to identify the needs and concerns of young people and their families.
Coordinate the support for young people and their families, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
Help families leverage their strengths and resources to create safe, effective plans for their children's well-being.
Assist designated safeguarding leads and other professionals in protecting vulnerable children.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

Experience Conducting assessments using frameworks such as the Early Help Assessment.
Experience providing direct support and advocacy to young people aged 11-19.
Experience managing and prioritising a caseload of young people and families.
Experience in face-to-face work with young people and families in both formal and informal settings.

What's on offer

Salary: £23ph+per hour

*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
