Description:

Talent Partner / Delivery Consultant

Select Talent Group (STG)

Location: Hybrid – ideally based in the North East, with regular travel to client sites
Salary: £28,000–£35,000 + bonus, depending on experience

Select Talent Group is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Talent Partner or Delivery Consultant to join us at an exciting stage of our journey.

STG combines traditional executive search with embedded talent partnerships and RPO solutions. We support clients across the UK and US, specialising in manufacturing, engineering and other highly regulated sectors.

We recruit at every level, from shop-floor operators and technical specialists through to senior sales professionals, functional leaders, Managing Directors and CEOs.

This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused position with no sales or business-development targets.

The role

Your typical week will be split across two areas:

*

Spending two to three days working directly on our clients’ sites, supporting embedded and RPO recruitment partnerships

*

Spending the remaining time supporting the Director with UK-wide retained and executive searches, typically covering sales, engineering, manufacturing and leadership appointments

You’ll manage vacancies from initial briefing through to offer, building strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, HR teams and senior business leaders.

The role requires someone who is agile, responsive and comfortable moving between different clients, vacancies and levels of seniority.

Key responsibilities

*

Delivering recruitment activity across embedded, RPO and retained-search assignments

*

Working on-site with clients to understand their businesses, teams and hiring requirements

*

Building trusted relationships with hiring managers, HR teams and senior leaders

*

Sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, CV-Library, job boards, referrals and direct headhunting

*

Interviewing and assessing candidates before presenting them to clients

*

Writing engaging job adverts, outreach messages and recruitment marketing content

*

Managing interview coordination, candidate feedback, offers and ongoing communication

*

Supporting UK-wide searches across sales, engineering, manufacturing and senior leadership

*

Managing multiple vacancies and changing priorities without compromising quality

*

Representing STG professionally at client sites, remotely and within the wider market

What we’re looking for

*

Previous experience in internal talent acquisition, RPO or a recruitment agency environment

*

Strong candidate sourcing, interviewing and relationship-management skills

*

Confidence communicating with people at every level from operators and engineers to CEOs and Managing Directors

*

A genuinely client-focused approach and high standards of customer service

*

The ability to work independently, manage your own workload and take ownership

*

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment where priorities can change quickly

*

Willingness to travel regularly to client sites, primarily across the North East

*

Experience recruiting within manufacturing, engineering or another technical sector would be beneficial

*

A growth mindset, with the ambition to develop your skills and progress as STG grows

Why join STG?

You’ll be joining an ambitious business at an early stage, with the opportunity to shape how we work, strengthen our client partnerships and build a long-term career alongside the company.

You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of recruitment—from embedded, high-volume delivery through to senior and executive search, without the pressure of cold calling or sales targets.

If you’re an experienced recruiter who loves delivery, candidate engagement and building client relationships, and wants the opportunity to grow with a developing business, we’d love to hear from you
