Talent and Development Manager
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Salary: £50-54k
Type: Full-time, permanent, hybrid (2 days in office) + benefits
We are delighted to be supporting our client in the appointment of an experienced Talent & Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver the organisation’s Talent, Learning & Development strategy.
* Lead performance and development frameworks, including 1-to-1s, reviews and development plans.
* Design and deliver engaging blended learning, leadership and professional development programmes.
* Develop competency frameworks, skills matrices and career pathways.
* Identify current and future skills gaps to support workforce planning and succession.
* Manage apprenticeships, qualifications, mentoring and coaching initiatives.
* Oversee the Learning Management System and mandatory/compliance training.
* Manage external learning providers and key stakeholder relationships.
* Measure L&D effectiveness through KPIs, feedback and business outcomes.
* Coach and advise managers on talent development and organisational capability.
About You
The successful candidate will have significant Talent/L&D experience, ideally within a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record in:
* Learning and development strategy and programme design.
* Performance and competency frameworks.
* Blended learning and adult learning methodologies.
* Talent management, career development and succession planning.
* LMS and learning technology management.
* Coaching, facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
