We have a fantastic secondment opportunity for Talent and Development Coordinator to join our People Team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. We’re looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.

The role

As our Talent and Development Coordinator, you will support the delivery of a comprehensive first class and right-first time talent and development service across the organisation by providing a proactive, reliable, and effective support to the Talent and Development team and across the Group. You will act as the first point of contact for all talent and development queries, delegating or redirecting these as necessary and giving advice and signposting where appropriate, ensuring compliance and best practice.

What skills and experience we are looking for:

* A good standard of general education including GCSE Maths and English at level C and above

* Level 3 CIPD or demonstratable equivalent experience (desirable)

* At least 12 months experience of working within a busy Human Resources team (desirable)

* Experience of working within Housing and/or a care related environment (desirable)

* Proven successful experience of record keeping and general administrative duties, showing a high level of attention to detail

* Builds and develops effective working relationships with others to meet shared goals

* Understanding of confidentiality in handling sensitive personal data

* An awareness of employment legislation and the practical application thereof

* Good verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt approach to meet the needs of all levels

* Able to work with people with in the diverse aspects of the workforce and able to adjust behaviour where required
