This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished in-house recruitment professional who enjoys combining hands-on recruitment with the opportunity to think more strategically about talent.

Working closely with managers and senior stakeholders across the business, you’ll take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle whilst helping to shape the organisation’s wider approach to talent acquisition. From developing future talent pipelines and early careers programmes to strengthening employer brand and using market insight to influence recruitment decisions, this is a role where you can make a genuine impact.

What You’ll Be Doing as the Talent Acquisition Business Partner

Managing end-to-end recruitment across a broad range of roles, disciplines and levels

Partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand current and future talent requirements

Acting as a trusted recruitment expert, providing advice, guidance and constructive challenge throughout the hiring process

Helping to develop and deliver the organisation’s Talent Acquisition strategy and supporting wider workforce planning

Developing creative sourcing and attraction strategies to identify and engage high-quality talent

Delivering an exceptional candidate experience from initial engagement through to onboarding

Building future talent pipelines through apprenticeships, graduate programmes, internships, work experience and wider early careers initiatives

Developing relationships with universities, colleges, training providers and other external partners

Using recruitment data, market insight and analytics to support decision-making and continually improve recruitment effectiveness

Championing inclusive recruitment practices and ensuring attraction and selection processes are fair, consistent and compliant

Supporting and developing the employer brand through recruitment campaigns, social media, careers fairs and networking activities

Managing and continually improving the Applicant Tracking System and recruitment processes

Managing relationships with recruitment agencies and external suppliers, ensuring quality and value

Working collaboratively with the wider HR team and contributing to broader people and business improvement projects

What We’re Looking For – Talent Acquisition Business Partner

Strong in-house recruitment or Talent Acquisition experience, managing recruitment from initial brief through to successful appointment

Experience recruiting across multiple disciplines and levels within an organisation

A genuine Business Partner approach with the confidence to build credibility, influence and appropriately challenge hiring managers and senior stakeholders

Strong direct sourcing, talent attraction and candidate engagement experience

An understanding of workforce planning and the ability to look beyond today's vacancy to future talent requirements

Experience using recruitment data, metrics and market insight to inform decisions

A passion for creating an outstanding candidate experience and building a strong employer brand

Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment reporting tools

A good understanding of UK employment legislation relating to recruitment and selection

Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills

Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies, projects and priorities

CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards Level 5 would be desirable
