System Engineer

BRIEF OVERVIEW
- Role: System Engineer (junior to senior engineer available)
- Role type: Permanent
- Salary/Rate: up to £55k DOE
- Working type: Hybrid/remote (1 day minimum per week on-site) / 9-day fortnight

We are looking for a System Engineer from junior to senior level to work on various projects within safety-critical industries, such as defence and space.

There are multiple projects available to work on with plenty coming up. There is a huge focus on work-life balance, so working from home is fully acceptable if you're able to commit at least 1 day per week on site. There is also a big emphasis on training and development, with a big budget allocated just for this purpose.

REQUIREMENTS
- Model-based system engineer (MBSE)
- SysML / UML
- Full lifecycle system engineering
- Experience with complex, safety-critical systems (Defence, Space, Automotive, etc)

DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Knowledge of ISO standards
- Knowledge of defence/space standards
- Usage of DOORS / Enterprise Architect
- Understanding of system safety principals
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline / chartership
