Location: Loudwater (2-3 days per week onsite)

Duration: 3-6 month contract

Rate: £75ph UMB (Inside IR35)

Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Systems Engineer (PDM) to join their team in Loudwater. This contract role is integral to supporting the preparation and acceptance of a critical navigational system for the MoD.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting activities in preparation for the acceptance of Platform Data Manager (PDM) on Type 23 platform
Updating system documentation, including Acceptance Certificates
Assisting the Project Engineering Lead (PEL) in successful acceptance and delivery of the upgrade
Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary project team to achieve project success
Working closely with the System Design Authority (SDA)

Job Requirements:

Experience in Systems Engineering within the Maritime, Defence, and Security sectors
Understanding of navigational systems and their integration
Ability to update and manage system documentation
Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills
Eligibility to obtain relevant security clearance
