Systems Accountant
Location - London (Occasional overnight in UK locations)
Salary – Up to £72,003 Per Annum Pro Rata DOE
Full-Time
Fixed Term contract of 15 months
Do you have experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamic?
Do you have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, as well as experience with system integration and data migration projects?
Our client, a leading educational entity operating in London, is looking for a Systems Accountant to join their team on a 15-month fixed contract.
As the Systems Accountant, you will...
* Be accountable for the development, standardisation, and implementation of future-state end-to-end Finance business processes for the group, aimed at establishing a robust internal control environment that complies with both internal and external audit requirements.
* Direct and collaborate with subject matter experts to craft the Group Chart of Accounts tailored for the D365 environment.
* Conceptualise and produce Financial and Management Reporting using D365 reporting tools and Power Apps.
* Provide comprehensive training to the Finance System Team on D365 Functionality and Reporting, empowering them to assist the broader finance team throughout the training and testing phase of the project.
* Utilise specialised expertise in D365 F&O and reporting to aid the wider Finance Team throughout the discovery, implementation, and testing stages of the project.
* Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data for internal and external stakeholder reporting purposes.
* Adhere to GDPR & DPA laws and regulations.
* Champion equality and equality in all areas of the business, in line with company ethos.
* Support Business-As-Usual (BAU) systems when necessary.
Skills
* Must have strong experience in the implementation and management of MS Dynamic D365 Finances & Ops
* Extremely good knowledge of MS Power Apps
* Experience of Building Financial Reports in Microsoft Dynamics F&O reporting tools
* Experience in using Open Accounts and eBIS is ideal but not essential
* Must be qualified in CCAB Accountancy or qualification in ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ICAS equivalent
* Extensive knowledge of MS Power BI tools.
* Must have a strong background in finance department and detailed knowledge of all finance functional areas
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to suit
