System Administrator — Yeovil (Hybrid / Remote) - £39,000 per annum - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm - Free Parking and Excellent Benefits
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced System Administrator to join an exceptional team at a leading Cloud, Network, and IT Security provider based in Yeovil. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven professional with a proven track record as a System Administrator.
The System Administrator will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and designing processes and solutions for the Cloud infrastructure, both internally and externally. Working alongside a dedicated team of IT professionals, you will be the primary point of contact for internal IT support, as well as providing project support for the deployment of new technologies.
As a System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the exciting expansion plans of the company. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Providing support for clients within agreed SLAs
Managing relationships and troubleshooting for internal staff and premium partners
Ensuring personal KPIs are met for productivity and effectiveness
Providing regular feedback to managers in line with procedures
Assisting with project delivery
Documenting and managing knowledgebase articles and processes
Your role as a System Administrator is integral to the company's expansion plan, and you will need to bring your previous experience and willingness to learn to this new role. To excel in this role, you will need:
Experience in supporting users on Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft Products
Experience in Linux, preferably with proxmox
A willingness to learn and collaborate as part of a team
Strong communication, literacy, and organisational skills
Keen attention to detail and the ability to gather information effectively
The ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure
The ability to follow existing processes and assist in designing new ones
