Description:
Our Hove based engineering client is looking for an experienced Switchgear Technician/Panel Wirer to work alongside Technicans, Testers and Engineers to ensure high and accurate standard of build and installation.
Key responsibilities and main tasks and activities:
* Interpretation of schematic and general arrangement drawings.
* Layout of panels
* Panel assembly including, preparation of metalwork prior to assembly, cabling and small wiring.
* Copper busbar fitting.
* Panel installation on site.
* Liaising with engineers
Skills and abilities:
Essential
* Electrical and mechanical knowledge
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Ability to interpret schematic and general arrangement drawings

Working Days and Hours
Mon to Thur, 07:45 to 16:30 and Fri 07:45 to 12:15
