Parking:

The car parks are oversubscribed but there is a free park and ride service that happens during normal working office hours to Dundonald Icebowl which staff can avail of. If users had to park on site and were able to obtain a space in the car park then it could cost £4.50 per day.

Pay Rates:

Monday to Friday Rates:

Hours worked from 8am to 8pm would be £12.82 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour

Hours worked from 8pm to 10pm would be £16.66 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour

Saturday Rate

£16.66 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour

Sunday Rate

£20.50 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour

Working Days and Hours:

* Candidates must be available to work day shifts Monday to Sunday between 8am-10pm

* Working hours will be a mixture of the following:

8am-4pm

8am – 2pm

9am – 5pm

2pm-10pm

Please note the following:

* For training purposes we would need them to be available during the day for approx. first two weeks.

* The vacant post our client has at the moment would likely not include night shift but our client would ask that if required from time to time the successful candidate could possibly help out.

* Our client offer a 24/7 365 service so shifts would also include some weekend and bank holiday work including holiday periods.

* The client has said they will give full 4 weeks’ notice, initially this may not be possible

Summary

The essential nature of the Switchboard service is such that the post holder will be required to work as part of a team of Switchboard Operators providing a vital service, responding promptly and efficiently to all internal and external calls for the client’s locations, ensuring the Switchboard is manned on a 24/7, 365 days a year basis, providing an excellent customer focused service.

Key duties and responsibilities

* Operate the Trust Telephone Systems in a prompt, efficient and pleasant manner.

* Have the ability to prioritise job responsibilities, particularly in the event of emergencies, system failures etc.

* Operate the Trust Internal and External Paging Systems and other communication platforms.

* Deal with emergency calls regarding medical emergencies i.e. Cardiac arrests, maternity, major incidents etc.

* Monitor estates alarm board and report faults/alarms to appropriate person.

* Participate in live exercise drills for all emergency teams.
