Sustainability Programme Manager (maternity cover)
 
Climate17 are pleased to be offering a maternity cover opportunity with a leading international logistics organisation as a Sustainability Programme Manager.  This maternity cover role is based at their central London HQ and presents a unique chance to contribute to a company that is committed to achieving net zero and is well its sustainability pathway.
 
The Role

Deliver sustainability projects from initiation to completion across Europe, to align with the strategy and the priorities of the EU region.
Lead on projects relating to community investment, CSR campaigns and volunteering projects and initiatives across the EU region.
Oversee project budgets, monitor spend and donations.
Managing partnerships and relationships to develop nature and volunteering activities and programmes in Europe.
Work with the other sustainability functions and European departments on key momentsand campaigns, such as volunteering activity and charitable campaigns.

Support the other functions of the sustainability team with additional programme and project needs, such as building business cases, tracking results and engaging with keyEuropean and local partners.

Requirements

A strong passion for an understanding of sustainability issues.
Previous experience of managing CSR projects and organising volunteer events.
Able to work with data and manage information, create reports and present information.
Manage stakeholder and partner relationships and develop clear plans to execute working in collaboration.
Flexibility to travel to regional EU offices to conduct meetings and lead activities.
Good verbal and written communication skills with any additional language skills are advantageous.
