Description:
National main contractor are seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager to join their well-established team in the North West. This company already have a very healthy pipeline secured for the next 3 years. Working across newbuild and fit-out in both housing and commercial build. This is a full time, permanent role working within a close-knit team.
Role and responsibilities:
* Management of processes and quality control in line with pre-construction and delivery requirements
* Management of Accreditations and BMS Systems within the NW
* Provide technical support including, solutions, best practice and design
* Working closely with the Head of Sustainability to develop different strategies and implementing them as and when required
* Keep up to date with legislation and ensuring the business is always up to current practice
* Keeping to targets and KPI's
Requirements
* Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related subject
* Understanding of current and proposed sustainability building regulations: PAS2035 and PAS2030
* PAS2038 knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
* High ability to manage teams delivering against objectives
* A thorough understanding of commercial and process knowledge
* Experience in developing and delivering schemes within the social housing sector is highly regarded
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
