We are recruiting for an established independent Japanese restaurant brand operating across multiple locations in the UK.

I am looking for passionate, skilled, and dedicated Chefs de Partie with previous experience in Japanese cuisine to join the growing kitchen teams. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced chefs who take pride in delivering high-quality food, maintaining excellent kitchen standards, and working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

*

Take full responsibility for your allocated kitchen section, ensuring consistent food quality, preparation, and presentation.

*

Prepare and cook Japanese and Japanese-inspired dishes in accordance with established recipes and standard operating procedures.

*

Manage stock levels, ordering, portion control, and waste reduction.

*

Follow HACCP principles and all relevant food safety, hygiene, allergen control, and health and safety procedures.

*

Support and guide junior chefs and kitchen porters where required.

*

Follow company policies, kitchen procedures, and equipment safety requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

*

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a more senior kitchen role is essential.

*

Minimum of three years’ experience in Japanese cuisine is required.

*

Good understanding of preparation planning, service execution, stock control, and closing procedures.

*

A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for Japanese cuisine.
