Our client requires a surveyor to inspect and complete surveys for Fibre installations.
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
This role forms part of a larger project management team overseeing the installation of telecommunication cables into clients’ properties. This role in specific is to audit the process from inception through to completion. The role includes carrying out diligent site inspections and accurately reporting observations as well as managing relationships between clients, service providers and health and safety consultants.
The succesful candidate will
* Carry out site inspections for the purpose of Post Works Inspections (PWI’s) to inspect completed works, checking quality of works, fire compartmentation and fire stopping etc. Where sites include suspended ceiling tiles then you are expected to use ladders to review works above the ceiling level (equipment provided). Full survey.
* To audit the process from inception through to completion. The role includes carrying out diligent site inspections and accurately reporting observations as well as managing relationships between clients, service providers and health and safety consultants.
* To record and form post works inspection report following your site inspection (word template provided).
The sites are located around London and range from small, converted apartment blocks to large modern purpose-built apartment blocks.
