Supportive Living Manager-£35K-Wrexham
Location: Wrexham, covering flats within the community
Salary: £32,000 per annum, plus £240 car allowance

Amber Mace are currently recruiting for a Supported Living Service Manager to oversee a small number of flats within the community based in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager to join a well-renowned care company that is one of the UK’s leading providers of supported living schemes for people living with autism and learning disabilities
As a Supportive Living Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and independence of individuals within the community flats. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive support to residents, promoting their physical and emotional health, independence, and social inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of supportive living facilities, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
• Develop and implement individual support plans tailored to the needs of each resident, promoting personal development and empowerment.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management as necessary.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and assess the quality of care and support services, implementing improvements where necessary to meet regulatory standards and best practices.
• Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently to support the smooth running of the service.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the social care or supported living sector.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• LD / PD / Mental Health / ABI /Autism management experience
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• QCF/NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care OR a RMA (can be working towards these)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
• Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures governing social care provision.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A full driving license and access to a vehicle for travel within the community.
