Highbridge Resourcing are working on behalf of a care provider that specialise in providing independent living in stand alone accommodation for young people.
We are recruiting a Support Worker to join a small team to support young people (16-18 years) who live independently in Telford. Please note this role is working through agency and requires a start asap.
As a support worker you will be working on a one to one basis with the young person, supporting to live independently with daily living skills, socialising, education, liaison with family members and supporting with emotional needs and mental health.
Shift times are a mixture of the following;
outreach hours within the daytime - 4-5 hours each session
0800-11pm and a sleep-in
We are looking for a support worker that can be flexible with their time and who can work a combination of these shifts. You can be flexible with your availability as the shifts will vary each week.
Successful applicants will be required to register with Highbridge Resourcing and will be required to meet our compliance standards including 2 satisfactory references and a clean enhanced DBS for children and adults.
It is essential that as a Support Worker you have:
* NVQ level 3 in Social care or an equivalent qualification in health and social care.
* Car driver ESSENTIAL
* At-least 6 months experience working with Young People in residential, 1 to or supported living
