Children's Residential Care Worker - Worksop (2‑Bedroom Home)

£13.52 – £14.82 per hour | Permanent | Start ASAP

Rota: 2 On / 4 Off

Driver essential | RTW in UK (No sponsorship)

Residential care experience preferred but not essential – full training provided

A 2‑bedroom therapeutic children’s home in Worksop is recruiting a compassionate, resilient individual to help support young people with complex needs. You’ll work within a small, supportive team delivering structured care, daily routines, activities, emotional support and safeguarding.

Do you want to work with a provider who genuinely believes every child deserves safety, connection and trust?

In this 2‑bedroom therapeutic home, the focus is on understanding the meaning behind behaviour and responding in ways that build resilience, confidence and self‑worth. As a Residential Care Worker, you’ll model these values in every interaction, offering stability, compassion and hope to the young people you support. If you’re someone who wants to make a real difference and work in a home where therapeutic practice is lived, not just spoken about, this role is for you.

The role requires a calm, child-centred approach that is rooted in trauma-informed and restorative practice.

Key duties include implementing care plans, maintaining records, supporting therapy, household tasks, and promoting positive behaviour. Senior roles require previous experience; RCW roles offer full training.

If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact and grow within a therapeutic environment, apply now to join this supportive 2‑bedroom home
