About Ty Dyffryn:
Ty Dyffryn is a 2 bedroom home based in Porth, Rhonadda Cynon Taff, supporting young adults as they transition into adulthood.
Position: Support Worker

As a Support Worker at Ty Dyffryn, you will play a crucial role in the lives of our people, supporting their daily activities, additional needs, and personal development. You will work closely with a magnificent team including therapists and other support workers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment. 
Responsibilities:

Provide personalised care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning and social interactions.  
Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person. 
Implement individualised care plans, under the guidance of an incredibly supportive senior team. 
Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration. 
Collaborate with the wider team to maintain accurate records and documentation. 
Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones. Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with children and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
 
Requirements:

A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact. 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships. 
Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs. 
A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team. 
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes. 
Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and nights if required.Benefits:
