Support Worker / Teaching Assistant (Team Teach or MAPA Trained)
Location: Southend-on-Sea (SS2)
Pay: £16.00–£20.00 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Monday-Friday | 3 Hours Per Day
Contract: Part-Time | Long-Term
New Chapter Tuition is recruiting an experienced Support Worker or Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated 3:1 support team supporting a Year 11 male student with SLD, Autism, ADHD and non-verbal communication needs.
Working alongside a qualified tutor and another support worker, you'll help deliver personalised learning, provide personal care and support the student to engage safely and positively throughout each session.
Requirements
*
Team Teach or MAPA trained (essential).
*
Experience supporting learners with SLD, Autism, ADHD and non-verbal communication needs.
*
Experience providing personal care.
*
Calm, patient and confident supporting behaviours that may challenge.
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
