The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and service users with their day-to-day care needs. Core responsibilities include:
* Providing high-quality personal and practical care
* Supporting patients/service users with daily activities
* Assisting with mobility and personal care
* Monitoring patient wellbeing and reporting any concerns promptly
* Maintaining dignity, privacy and independence at all times
* Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider healthcare team
* Following care plans, safeguarding procedures and infection-control standards
This role is well suited to HCAs who take pride in delivering compassionate, person-centred patient care.
Candidate Requirements
We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
* Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Healthcare Support Worker (NHS, care home or hospital setting)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A compassionate, person-centred approach to care
* The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude
* The right to work in the UK
* Willingness to complete any mandatory training and compliance checks required for the assignment
