I am currently recruiting for Support Workers in Kirkby Le Soken and Walton on the Naze in a full time permanent capacity. If you love a challenge in a new and fullfilling role and are passionate about supporting people I would love to hear from you. Unfortunately my client does accept people on sponsorship
Role
You will be required to provide day to day support which will include cooking, shopping, personal care and visitng family and friends..Also providing support to achieve goals and aspirations as going to college and on holiday. You will need to have access to a car becuase of the services rural location. All applications will be subject to DBS check
Job specification
* Minimum of 6 months experience working in a care setting (preferably learning disability) with checkable UK references
* Must be patient, kind and compassionate and calm in difficult situations
* Be confident and resilient with service users that can display behaviour defined as challenging
* Have an excellent work ethic and be reliable
* Have excellent communication skills
* Be friendly, approachable and have a sense of humour
* Must have access to a car
