Description:

HRC are recruiting a positive, proactive and engaging Support Worker to support a male living independently in his own home.

He enjoys an active lifestyle including swimming, walks in local country parks. At home, he likes jigsaws, board games and reading.

This role suits someone who enjoys shared activities and genuine interaction. He thrives when support workers are fully engaged and present, and may find lack of interaction or distractions (such as phone use during activities) challenging.

The ideal candidate will be:

Proactive, upbeat and engaging
Happy to support community activities and outings
Comfortable initiating conversation and activities
Interested in supporting social opportunities and friendships
An experienced support worker with at least 6 months UK care experience
Happy to work 24-hour sleepover shifts
A car is available to support community access.
