Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – Hull
We are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate Support Workers / Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Hull. You will provide person-centred care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their dignity, independence, safety, and wellbeing.
Key Duties
* Assist with personal care, dressing, washing, toileting, and mobility.
* Support with meals, hydration, medication, and daily activities.
* Provide emotional and social support.
* Monitor and report changes in service users’ wellbeing.
* Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
* Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and infection-control procedures.
* Work effectively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
* Previous care or healthcare experience is desirable but not always essential.
* Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Reliable and flexible with shift work.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Satisfactory DBS and employment checks.
