As a Support Worker you are a "Key Worker" allowing you to provide an exceptional service to the individuals requiring our support in the community.
Position: Support Worker
Location: Blackstone Care, [London and surrounding areas]
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time (Must be available for evenings, nights and weekend shifts)
Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and support to the local community
- Assisting with daily activities and tasks
- Meal planning
- Personal care
- Social visits & Travel escort
- Teaching of independent living skills
- Management of medication
- Assisting with accessing community-based activities: college, swimming, and other social activities.
Requirements:
- 6 months minimum experience as a Support Worker
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- In-date training
- Passionate and hardworking support workers
- Assist our service users to enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful life
- Participate with service users in the local community
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo training and development
