Overview:
● Title: Children Support Worker
● Pay: £13.38 - £26.76 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
● Location: Presteigne
● Hours: Flexible pattern available, pick and choose the shifts you want every week.
12-hour shift pattern including days and waking nights

The main responsibilities of a support worker includes:
● Ensuring physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring
environment;
● Supporting residents during recreational activities within the services and out in the
community
● Promoting independence and celebrating achievements and milestones of the
residents;
● Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and any incidents should they
arise;
● General housekeeping duties depending on the service and it's requirements
We are looking for people who care and have:
● A minimum of 6 months experience working within a care setting in the UK
● A compassionate and caring nature

● Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
● Resilience and patience when faced with challenges
● A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team
● Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts
