Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Salary: £11.44 - £22.88 per hour

Contract Type: Zero Hour

Shifts: Days, Nights, Sleep-Ins

Key Responsibilities:

As a Support Worker, your primary mission will be to deliver exemplary support to vulnerable individuals, empowering them to embrace independence and fulfilment. You'll cultivate a profound understanding of each individual's unique needs, implementing a holistic, person-centred care approach. Your commitment will ensure that emotional, social, and physical requirements are comprehensively met, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment.

Key duties include:

* Dispensing medication in accordance with prescribed schedules.

* Providing support with daily living tasks and household chores, including meal preparation, tidying, and personal hygiene assistance.

* Building positive rapport with a diverse team of professionals/Clients.

* Prioritising the continual safety and well-being of clients.

* Upholding meticulous record-keeping, including support plans and medication administration records.

* Fulfilling all required administrative tasks promptly.

* Sustaining open lines of communication with the Service Manager and other professionals.

* Honouring the uniqueness and privacy of each individual under care.

* Nurturing and maintaining connections with service users and their families.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following essential skills:

* Demonstrates patience and maintains composure in challenging situations.

* Quickly adapts to new environments with ease.

* Known for reliability and trustworthiness in all tasks and responsibilities.

* Willing to travel for work within a reasonable distance.

* Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
