Description:
We are seeking a Resilient Young People's Support Worker to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional resilience, empathy, and a strong commitment to supporting young people through various challenges. You will work closely with individuals , providing guidance, advocacy, and practical support to help them navigate personal, social, and educational issues.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, fostering trust and respect.
Provide one-on-one support, mentoring, and guidance to young people facing challenges such as family issues, mental health concerns, and educational difficulties.
Conduct assessments to identify the needs and strengths of each young person, developing personalized support plans.
Facilitate group sessions and workshops on topics such as life skills, self-esteem, and healthy relationships.
Advocate on behalf of young people, liaising with schools, social services, healthcare providers, and other relevant agencies.
Monitor and record progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date case notes and reports.
Respond to crises and emergencies, providing immediate support and intervention as needed.
Encourage and promote the participation of young people in community activities and services.
Stay informed about current issues and best practices related to youth support and development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative programs and initiatives.Qualifications:
A relevant qualification in social work, youth work, counseling, or a related field.
Proven experience working with young people in a supportive role.
Exceptional resilience, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with young people from diverse backgrounds.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping young people overcome obstacles.
Knowledge of local resources and services available to young people.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
