Pay rate: ££13:18 Per Hour (Weekly pay)

Shift Pattern: 8am - 8pm – Part Time
Location: IP1 6SD
Requirements:  FULL CLEAN UK DRIVING LICENSE

Introduction:

Previous experience working with individuals with Severe Learning Disabilities and Epilepsy. This role will be supporting a young person with Angelman’s Syndrome. This individual has a great sense of humour and spends a lot of his time on the floor playing games.

Role & Responsibilities:

· Assist with all aspects of daily living and have the ability to help someone build everyday life skills. (Cooking, cleaning, shopping, and planning)· Helping to plan and organise leisure opportunities such as seeing favourite bands, walking, places of interest etc.· Watching DVDs with them and joining in with specific interests. (You will need to be willing to learn about these)

 

Skills, knowledge & expertise:

UK driver’s license preferable

Previous Experience with Learning Disabilities experience

Enthusiastic and willingness to learn.
