Support Worker – Permanent Position
About the Role
Leo Recruits Ltd is currently recruiting dedicated, compassionate and reliable Support Workers for a permanent opportunity with our client in Worcester.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about health and social care and committed to supporting people in maintaining their independence, dignity and quality of life.
The successful candidates will provide person-centred care and support to individuals in a residential care setting, helping them with their daily activities and promoting their overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred care and support in accordance with individual care plans.
*
Assist service users with personal care, hygiene, dressing and daily living activities where required.
*
Promote independence, dignity, choice and respect at all times.
*
Support individuals with mobility, daily routines and social activities.
*
Monitor and report changes in service users’ physical or emotional wellbeing.
*
Maintain accurate care records and report incidents or concerns promptly.
*
Follow safeguarding procedures, health and safety policies, and infection control guidelines.
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of care.
Essential Requirements
*
Full and valid Right to Work in the UK.
*
Enhanced DBS certificate with an active DBS Update Service subscription, or willingness to meet the client's DBS requirements.
*
Mandatory healthcare training certificates.
*
Care Certificate covering all 16 standards, where required by the client.
*
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*
A compassionate, patient and responsible approach to care.
*
Ability to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, according to the rota.
*
Previous experience in a care or support worker role is desirable.
