Pay rate:
Weekdays: £14 per hour
Weekends: £14.50 per hour
Night Shifts: £15 per hour
Weekend Nights: £15.25 per hour
 
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday shifts available: 8:30am-3:30pm, 6pm-10pm, 10pm-8am.
Additional weekend hours are available on a flexible basis

Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Opportunity to pick up extra shifts for annual leave/sickness.

This individual suffers from a severe Hypoxic Ischaemic brain injury, life threatening dystonia, diabetes, is unable to swallow and has no cough response.

You will effectively become pat of the clients everyday life, taking a calm and organised approach to assist with day to day duties such as companionship, assisting with day to day tasks and supporting on complex needs too

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the client around their clinical needs.

Offering day-to-day assistance as needed

Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times

Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members

Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy

Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting, operating on shifts to ensure round-the-clock care coverage. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care

Experience in a similar role

Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support

Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required
