Your Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you'll provide compassionate, high-quality care tailored to residents' individual needs.
Your duties will include:

Assisting residents with personal care and daily living activities.

Supporting independence, dignity and individual care goals.

Assisting with therapy and rehabilitation programmes.
*
Promoting emotional wellbeing and social engagement.

Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.

Maintaining a safe, comfortable and supportive environment.

Working collaboratively with Nurses, Therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Following care plans, safeguarding procedures and health and safety guidelines.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service.
*
Valid Moving & Handling training certificate.
*
Valid Health & Safety training certificate.
*
Valid Safeguarding training certificate.
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
A compassionate, professional and reliable approach.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
*
Flexibility to work day, night or weekend shifts according to availability.
Desirable Experience
*
Previous experience as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant.
*
Experience working in residential care, nursing homes or rehabilitation settings.
*
Understanding of person-centred care and supporting individuals with complex needs.
