Description:
Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of a large Nursing Home within the TN4 area, who are looking for experienced Support Workers. Please see the details of the role below:
Basic Rate: £12.18
Weekend Rate: £13.28
12 hour shifts, either days or nights.
Responsibilities:
• Promote physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
• Ensure that the highest possible care standards are always followed and that care is delivered in accordance with the resident’s care plan.
• When weighing residents, submit the information on person-centred software within the time scale set by the nurse or senior carer.
• Advise the nurse in charge of any significant change in a resident’s health condition.
• Assist in the care planning or review process when required.
• Assist residents who require support with all personal hygiene needs/personal care (washing/bathing/toileting)
• Help promote the mental and physical activity of residents through activities such as talking to them, taking them out, and sharing activities like reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations.
• Make and change beds; tidy rooms.
• Serve meals; assist residents at meal times where required; wash up utensils.
• Answer call bells, the door, and the telephone; greet visitors.
• Carry out escort duties when required.
