Description:
We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children in our care. Our children's home offers a safe, nurturing environment for young people facing challenging circumstances. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting.
* Work on a shift-based rota, including early mornings, late evenings, and overnight sleep shifts.
* Assist children in developing life skills, pursuing education, and engaging in recreational activities.
* Effectively manage and respond to challenging behaviours.
* Maintain accurate records and reports according to organizational policies.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
* Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
* Experience working in a children's home.
* Proven experience dealing with challenging behaviours.
* Ability to work every other weekend.
* Full driving license and ability to drive.
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desired but not essential).
