Pay:£13.10 per hour, plus 15p per mile fuel allowance

Shifts: full-time, part-time, evenings, weekends, sleeping nights

Job Description

What you’ll do

Every person we support is different, so no two days will be exactly the same.

As a Support Worker, you’ll:

Support individuals to develop and maintain their independence

Encourage choice, confidence and involvement in everyday decisions

Support with shopping, cooking and household tasks

Help individuals access activities and opportunities in their local community

Provide companionship and emotional support

Support with appointments and social activities

Assist with medication where required

Provide personal care with dignity and respect where needed

Work alongside colleagues, families and other professionals to provide person-centred support

Above all, you’ll take the time to understand each individual and what a good day looks like for them.
