Working for: Team Brain Injury Support 
 Shifts available: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8am – 10pm (full-time hours available)Pay rate: £15 during the week - £16 weekend per hour (Weekly Pay)Location: Wincanton Unfortunately, we cannot provide VISA sponsorship and we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in/around the Wincanton area and able to commute.
 
 This is a permanent role.

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for the right person to work with a young woman living in Wincanton. She is an outgoing and charismatic young mother that unfortunately suffered an accident resulting in a brain injury, who appreciates support workers looking past this and supporting her with day-today life. We’re looking for a like-minded caring individual to join our close-knit team to help support her in leading the life she wants to live.

Key Responsibilities

Support Workers cover all manners of support for others – from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping. At Team Brain Injury Support, you’ll be working with someone living with complex care needs and receive fully paid, on the job training. So, whether you’re an experienced support worker or completely new to the sector, you’ll have the opportunity to build your skills in a safe and trusted environment.
Support with all facets of daily living

Foster a supportive and inclusive environment

Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times

Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members

Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy

Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care

Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support

Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required
