Shift Pattern: 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am 2:1 (waking nights) weekdays and weekend shifts available

We cannot provide sponsorship and we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in the Killinghall area. We're thrilled to offer a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate individual to provide support to a person we support in Killinghall. You will be supporting a young man with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in Killinghall.
He requires support with his PEG feed, moving and handling, tracheostomy and bowel care.

Key Responsibilities
Support Workers cover all manners of support for others – from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping. At Team Brain Injury Support, you’ll be working with someone living with complex care needs and receive fully paid, on the job training. So, whether you’re an experienced support worker or completely new to the sector, you’ll have the opportunity to build your skills in a safe and trusted environment.
Support with all facets of daily living
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment
Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times
Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members
Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support
Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required
