Role of a Support Worker
Are you enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with Autism? Our client in Colchester is currently seeking support workers to join our team providing essential care and support adults with autism spectrum conditions.
Duties:
* Provide direct support and assistance to individuals in their home environment, promoting their wellbeing and independence.
* Engaging with residents in all social activities indoors & outdoors, providing companionship to promote their physical and mental wellbeing.
* Building relations ships with the individuals providing encouragement, and emotional support.
* One of the ladies likes to go horse riding & go out for long walks so need someone is Proactive.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as an HCA or support worker, must have a minimum of 6months plus in healthcare industry.
* Effective communication & interception skills
* Must have a child & adult DBS on update service.
* Driving licence preferred but not essential.
