Pay rate: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour - Based on Days/Weekend Shifts
 
Full UK Drivers license required due to tasks required whilst on shift.

Shift Pattern:
Monday 7am - 5pm,
Tuesday 11am - 6pm,
Wednesday 10am - 9:30pm,
Thursday 11am - 6pm,
Friday 11am, 6pm,
Sat 11am-6pm

Location: Chorley

Unfortunately we cannot provide VISA sponsorship and we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based within a commutable distance to Chorley.

This role will be supporting a gentleman who presents disabilities closely associated to cerebral palsy and has other cognitive disabilities, disabilities with social and communication functioning.

He requires a strong Support Worker who can accompany him during his day to day activities which includes attending college classes and being out in the community.

This is a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

Support with all aspects of daily living

Be a strong companion

Accompany the client to physio sessions

Support with personal care

Provide regular prompts when it comes to personal behaviour 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You’ll need to have: 
Worked as a carer previously in the UK (Preferably atleast 3 months experience)

Experience working closely with families of the supported (Preferred)

Experience managing cerebral palsy would be beneficial but not essential

Experience working with brain injuries would be beneficial but not essential

Full UK drivers license is MANDATORY to be considered for this role

Clinical experience would be beneficial but not essential, as you will potentially have to assist with various duties as well as personal care.
